• Account will be credited with DBT/Scholarship amount even if the account becomes Dormant/ Inoperative.
• Accounts are exempted from minimum balance charges and inoperative charges.
• The accounts are free from restrictions of total credit limit.
• All existing account of all beneficiaries under the Government Scholarship schemes and accounts receiving credit of Direct Benefit Transfer under Govt. schemes opened in various SB schemes EXCEPT SB Small are to be converted to SBDBT scheme to ensure compliance of regulatory guidelines.
