BHIM Aadhaar IOB is the mobile app intended for our merchants which allows them to accept payment from a customer of any bank and receive the sale proceeds instantaneously into merchant's own bank account through AePS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) mode. To be able to perform transactions through the same, merchant must have an Android mobile with the BHIM Aadhaar IOB app and a UIDAI certified biometric scanner which can be attached with the mobile phone through the USB port and customers should have linked their Aadhaar numbers to their bank accounts.

BHIM Aadhaar IOB FEATURES:

1.            Any bank customer can do transaction on our merchant's device and vice-versa as the transaction is interoperable in nature.

2.            Customers need not swipe card or input any other details like card number account number etc.

3.            Customers can perform transaction by providing their Bank name, Aadhaar number/VID and biometric.

4.            The funds are credited in real time to the merchant account linked at the time of onboarding after successful completion of the transaction.

5. android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION : to fetch the geo location
6. android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE : to get the details of wifi connectivity
7. android.permission.FLASHLIGHT : to enhance camera's functionality, providing better lighting conditions for scanning
8. android.permission.VIBRATE : to notify the user the QR capture is successful
9. android.permission.WAKE_LOCK : to ensure that background tasks can run uninterrupted.
