Key Benefits:

Premium Waiver Benefit:

In case of no claim, the insurance company will offer complete waiver of renewal premium. The waiver will be applicable for a block of years (say 5 years). Post which the consumer will have to pay the premium as per your plan and waiver will again be applicable as per the mentioned block of years.

Safeguard Benefit:

In case of availing Premium Waiver benefit with safeguard, then if the claim is for up to count of claims in a policy year, there will be no impact on the Premium waiver benefit.

Critical Illness Cover:

In the present GCC scheme, the policy lapses once a claim is paid out for any critical illness. Under the revised New GCC, the customer would be able to claim a total of 3 times in the life of the policy. This would give additional financial coverage to the consumer from unexpected medical emergencies.

The new Group critical care product will supersede the existing Group Critical care product. Hence borrowers will be able to avail the benefits under the new GCC scheme only.
