IT IS MANDATORY TO REMIT TDS ELECTRONICALLY (ONLINE)

To Remit Direct Tax on line, the user should have

  • A valid TAN or PAN number
  • An account with any of our networked Branches.
  • Register for Internet Banking facility with funds transfer facility.
  • The user has to log in to the NSDL Site  https://onlineservices.tin.nsdl.com/etaxnew/Index.html or   https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/etax  where the names of the Banks, which are offering online payment facility, are listed. The user has to select Indian Overseas Bank to proceed.
  • Alternatively, customer can log in to   http://incometaxindia.gov.in/ and select Pay Taxes Online link which will take the user to the first mention site.
  • The user has to select the challan and fill the fields of the challan. Thereafter select Indian Overseas Bank from the drop down list of Bank Name and Click on Proceed.
  • Thereafter the customer will be prompted to enter the login-id and password (In the case of a corporate the login-id User-id and Password has to be ente).
  • The user is prompted to enter the tax amounts
  • The details ente are displayed to the user for confirmation
  • On Clicking the submit button. The user is directed to Indian overseas Banks Payment Gateway. The customer is prompted to select either Individual login or Corporate Login as the case may be.
  • The Detail entered by him are displayed for verification. User can confirm the details by entering the PIN number and clicking on Transfer Funds button. The funds will be debited to the users account immediately.
  • Option to cancel the transaction is also provided.
  • After Successful payment, a Cyber receipt is displayed with a unique challan Identification Number (CIN) which can be printed by the customer and keep for reference.
